The 3M Attest Super Rapid Readout Sterilization Biological Indicator Vial is designed to increase efficiency and improve patient safety in sterilization monitoring. This self-contained system features a carrier with spores of Geobacillus stearothermophilus and a media ampoule filled with bacteriological media. With its rapid-readout capability, the biological indicator delivers results in just 24 minutes when used with the 3M Attest 490 490H auto-readers (software version 4.2.7 or higher).

Key Features

This system meets stringent ISO and FDA performance requirements, ensuring reliable and effective sterilization monitoring. Suitable for dynamic-air-removal methods (pre-vacuum and SFPP), it operates at 132˚C (270˚F) for 3 or 4 minutes and at 135˚C (275˚F) for 3 minutes. The indicator contains viable organisms that provide a direct measure of lethality, enhancing turnaround speed for critical instruments.
